11th Annual Comedy for Kids Fundraiser Benefiting Youth Recreation Programs to be Held on August 19 at the SAP Center

On August19 the Youth Connections Foundation of San José will hold its 11th Annual Comedy for Kids fundraiser at the SAP Center in San José. This year’s show will honor Jose Manzo, Superintendent of the Oak Grove School District. Marla Tellez will MC and the show will feature the home grown talent of Shanti Charan, Pete Munoz and our headliner Chris Storin.  Over the last 11 years the Foundation has raised over $100,000 for the benefit of underserved children in the form of program support and scholarships to city youth programs.

Please keep the following times in mind as you plan your arrival to SAP Center for tomorrow night's show:

The North Entrance opens at 5:30 p.m.*
Show is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

*Please note: The South Entrance to SAP Center will be closed for this event

Upon arrival at SAP Center at San Jose, you will have a number of easily accessible on-site parking options for only $6 per car.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Taking public transportation?

With a high volume of traffic anticipated in downtown San Jose, we encourage all showgoers to take advantage of the San Jose Diridon station located immediately across the street from SAP Center.

This station location allows you to easily travel to and from the event via several public transportation options including Caltrain and VTA Light Rail.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

Need assistance entering SAP Center?

Guests needing additional assistance and/or wheelchair/ramp access upon arriving at SAP Center at San Jose should park in SAP Center’s ABC Parking Lot and enter through the North Doors of the arena that are adjacent to the parking lot.
