BOTH SHOWS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR SAP CENTER AT SAN JOSE HAVE BEEN RELOCATED TO TECH CU ARENA
WHAT: Get ready for a slam-dunk extravaganza when the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters (@Globies) make history in their triumphant return to San Jose as their 2024 World Tour becomes the first non-hockey event to play at Tech CU Arena (@TechCUArena), home of the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda). This is your chance to witness the record-breaking stars of basketball LIVE as they bring an unforgettable blend of DRIBBLING, SPINNING, and DUNKING to the court, taking on their fierce rivals, the Washington Generals, on Sunday, January 14, 2024, for two historic shows at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Both Globetrotters shows were originally scheduled to take place at SAP Center at San Jose (@SAPCenter) but have been relocated to Tech CU Arena on the same date at the same times. Fans who are now unable to attend the event due to the change in location can receive a full refund at the original point of purchase.
Tech CU Arena is a 4,200-seat arena located at Sharks Ice at San Jose and the crown jewel of a 200,000 square foot expansion of the Sharks Ice public skating facility that was completed in August 2022. On February 4-5, 2024, the state-of-the-art venue will host the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic.
This year, the Globetrotters are also thrilled to announce an exciting new official ball partner, Spalding®. Starting this December, Spalding® will be joining the team at every arena destination, enhancing the game experience like never before. Fans will have the opportunity to take home an official Spalding® Harlem Globetrotters basketball or get their hands on the newly designed Harlem Globetrotters Marble SeriesTM ball on game day.
